So before you even think about using a Hypnotherapist in Chicago and before you take the next step to your freedom from those unwanted feelings or addictions, Why don't we explain a little bit
about what Hypnotherapy is and how it works to relieve your pain! If you are interested to know more, take a look at Hypnosis Chicago.
So What Is Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis & How Does It Work?
Hypnotherapy isn't about hypnotizing you into a state of unconsciousness and not knowing what you are doing, like many of the things you see on holiday or at a party. Hypnotherapy is an actual process that can, if done by a fully trained therapist really cure you of your addictions and unwanted feelings such as depression, anxiety and even phobias.
So Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis isn't a deep sleep or an unconscious state but is a trance like feeling that relaxes the whole body. The patient is actually in a full sense of awareness at all times but being extremely relaxed means the patient can focus on specific suggestions made by the therapist. These certain suggestions allow the patient to make positive changes within themselves.
The process of waving wands or watches in front of the eyes of a patient are long gone and left in the past. Within a hypnotherapy session you are left fully in control of your actions and are not made to do anything you do not want to. Hypnotherapy is a form of empowerment and allows you to feel in control of those unwanted feelings and rid those addictions that have been in control for so long.
So How Does A Session Work & What Happens?
Here at Hypnotherapist Chicago we like you to feel at home and all our sessions and initial consultations are run under a very friendly and relaxed environment. Also if you do not wish to travel to our clinic in Chicago we can travel to you in the comfort of your own home.
So for your first initial assessment and consultation we will sit down with you and get to know exactly what you want to achieve. We want to work on setting goals before we start to get to work. This way we both have something to work towards and the sessions are more beneficial.
So how many sessions do you need?
Obviously depending on the type of treatment needed the general amount of sessions would be 4-6. This obviously differs from person to person but that is the usual amount of sessions needed per individual. Within our initial consultation we will let you know how many sessions we will need so you know exactly how long the process will take. For more info, visit Hypnosis Chicago.
