Costa Rica Travel

Costa Rica is not the cheapest Central American country to visit, but with some planning you can have a budget travel adventure in this gorgeous and fascinating country. Here are some tips to get the most out of this spectacular country without having to eat noodle cups and crackers for the rest of your life!

If you are not in a hurry and don't mind wasting a little time, don't bother renting a car and just travel around by bus. Buses are traveling across the country, which is pretty small so distances are relatively short. If you are interested to know more, take a look at Costa Rica Travel. Although they are not always in the best shape, they will take you safe to your destination. And it is a great cheap option to go around. This said, speaking Spanish is a plus, otherwise you will lose precious time trying to make yourself understood. It can be a fun experience, and might help you practice your Spanish if it's rusty!

If you don't have much money, the best way to save is to just live as a local, who usually have tight budgets themselves. Food and drinks are available at very cheap prices everywhere, if you are not afraid to try something new. It doesn't always look sanitary, but it doesn't mean that it's not good, on the contrary. You might be surprised!

One of the most striking features of Costa Rica is of course its pristine nature, which is free! Try to always be on the lookout wherever you may find yourself, and you will without a doubt encounter some exotic species on your travels. Birds, crocodiles, monkeys, butterflies and iguanas are just a glance away, and a fun way to spend your time.

Another free activity that can be done in Costa Rica, with great rewards is snorkeling. Costa Rica is filled with beautiful beaches where you can bring your tuba and admire the wonders under the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. There are lots of hikes available in the country, as well as hot springs where you can unwind and relax your sore muscles after a long day of sightseeing. For more info, visit Costa Rica Travel.
