Plantar Wart Removal

Most people suffering from the HPV virus that result in warts wonder what is the best way to go about skin wart removal. Warts on the feet, one of the most common types, can often be painful since they appear on the soles and toes of the feet and make walking difficult. With many methods available, some more effective than others, lets have a look at some of the most popular ones. If you are interested to know more, take a look at Plantar Wart Removal.

Duct Tape
Lots of people look for cheap and effective remedies to remove plantar warts. One of the most popular methods is to use duct tape to remove the wart. Because of the low cost and availability of duct tape, you can try this treatment before resorting to more aggressive ones. Simply apply a piece of duct tape over the wart and leave it on for a week. If the tape falls off during this time, reapply a fresh piece. Once the week is over, remove the tape and soak the wart in warm water, scrubbing it gently with an old toothbrush to remove any dead skin. If it is not gone until then, repeat the process again until it disappears. How can this work you ask. Some have speculated that the body's immune system does not like the closed damp atmosphere and sends the appropriate virus fighting agents to the area that is taped. In any event many people have had great success using duct tape to fight the wart virus.

Banana Peels
If you want to try a more natural approach; you can use banana peel for plantar wart removal technique. Clean the wart thoroughly by soaking it in water and abrading the surface with an emery board and then apply a fresh piece of banana peel with the inner side exposed to the wart. Hold the peel over the wart in place with a bandage and leave it overnight. In the morning, wash the area with soap and warm water and then allow the wart to air dry. If the bandage gets wet, replace it immediately to prevent the HPV virus from growing in the moist environment.Use nail trimmers to remove black and brown parts of the wart daily so that the active part of the wart is exposed to the treatment. This method starts to work in as little as three days and the majority of warts disappear within two weeks.

Keep in mind that how warts and your body can be a different as night and day. While one of these methods may work perfectly for you, however if not do not despair there are many other natural and home remedies that you can use. With a little trial and error you should be able to find the one that works at home for you. For more detailed information, visit Plantar Wart Removal.
